Data ServicesNJCSEP offers services, which provide an analysis of your academic data (standardized test scores, benchmarks, surveys, attendance and/or discipline trends) to assist in guiding data-driven decision making. Through review of the data collected, NJCSEP will assist schools in determining necessary adjustments in instructional practices, academic and non-academic goal setting and help in determining professional development needs for staff.[if !supportLists]· [endif]Charter compliance[if !supportLists]· [endif]Reporting fulfillment[if !supportLists]· [endif]Renewals and numerous annual site inspections[if !supportLists]· [endif]Quality assurance[if gte mso 9]>

Board GovernanceOur Services range from strategic planning, policy development, training of board members, recruitment, and retention of staff. Our consultants have served on Charter School Boards, and have a wealth of knowledge to share to ensure accountability and compliance from all stake holders.
LeadershipNJCSEP can assist School Leaders in reporting requirements that are mandated by the Office of Charter Schools, the Fiscal Office, NJSMART, and local County offices. NJCSEP can also provide guidance and feedback to prepare for the charter school renewal process and conduct a mock renewal visit by those who have already gone through the process and been successfully renewed.
Academic Success – Improving teaching and learningOur customized professional development is founded on best practices that will help provide teachers with the knowledge to improve student academic performance. Educators who are currently practicing in successful charter school classrooms will provide resources and support. The knowledge of our consultants spans the NJCCCS, Core Curriculum Content Standards, and PARCC. The overarching goal of NJCSEP is to support the collaboration, sustainability, and success in Charter Schools through empowering administrators and teachers with the tools they need to be successful.
Special EducationMany charter schools do not have the resources to maintain a Supervisor of Special Education on-staff. Our knowledgeable Special Education team will provide guidance, support, and monitoring, regarding all your special education needs. NJCSEP will not only insure a student’s individual needs are being met, but that the school is in compliance with State and Federal regulations, will provide case management services, professional development, and keep you informed of legal and compliance updates.
